Favorite Friday! (2)

This week, my Friday Favorite is a gadget. For those who know me and to let those who don't, I am a big kid! I love to play. At home, I enjoy playing my Nintendo Wii. My favorite Wii game is Bowling. I bowl every Wednesday night (for real) on a league but with the Wii I am amazing. I can actually bowl over 200 on the Wii. In real life...well not so much. Some of the Wii games actually get you up off the couch and moving without the dreaded word exercise even having to be mentioned. Enjoy you weekend and be sure to get out and PLAY!

WOW Wednesday!

I was so excited today to read Hana by Lauren Oliver. This short story about Hana who was introduced in Delirium was a wonderful surprise today when it was annouced that it could be read on MTV's website before it's official release on February 28, 2012. All I can say is WOW!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Not sure about anyone else, but I am a hopeless romantic. I know it might be just another day to some but to me any day that you can show someone you LOVE them is a good day. There is also nothing like getting a little LOVE in return. Besides anyone who tells you they don't LOVE a good Love Story are fooling themselves. I am currently reading a wonderful book about how music brought two people together and they fell in LOVE and how Rob's love of music helped him through a tragic loss. I highly recommend...Love is a Mix Tape by Rob Sheffield

Favorite Friday!

I don't know much about anyone else this week but I am soooo.... glad it's Friday! In deciding what to put on my blog today, I came up with the idea to list a favorite gadget or book, or both every Friday.

For the inaugural Friday and in honor of the upcoming Valentine's Day.  I am choosing my favorite book I read in January which was Delirium by Lauren Oliver. This dystopian book about love being a disease and needing to be cured when you reach the age of 18 was so AMAZING. Although, I do want to give a warning that once you pick it up and starting reading you won't want to put it down! Looking forward to the release of Pandemonium this month since I can't wait to find out what happens next!

Beauty Gadgets

I am usually not too into make-up, my usual routine includes foundation with sunscreen and eyeliner. A change was needed to I recently got a new make-up kit. Which in-turn put me in search of some make-up brushes instead of using the little one that came with the kit. I found this neat lip brush that retracts so it doesn't get crushed and stays clean. It's probably been around forever but I have been out of the beauty good loop for a long time. Hope some of you find it neat too!
