I wanted to stick with my New Year's goals so I set out to find another gadget to help me with that. To guide me in changing my eating habits I joined Weight Watchers some time back but never really used the tools they have to offer on-line. Well, it is about time I did. I found out that in addition to on-line, I can access the tools from my iPad with the Weight Watchers application. They even have an application that is just recipes. So excited. I can't stop tracking my food and searching for new ways to prepare food and challenge my activity points from week to week. Don't worry if you don't have an iPad you can access the mobile site from your cellular phone too.

New Year, New Start!
The best thing about each new year is that it is a new chapter in our lives. This year my commitment to myself is to be healthier by eating healthier, exercising more and to stress less. So my first few blogs for 2011 will be gadgets to help me with these goals.
I plan to plant a decent size garden this year, the problem is I don't really have a green thumb. So in preparation I am putting this gadget on my 2011 wish list. The Black & Decker Plant Smart digital plant care sensor. This handy gadget works indoors and out to measure sunlight exposure, soil conditions, temperature and moisture levels. Then hook up this sensor to your computer via the USB cable and the Black & Decker website will give suggestions on which plants will work best for the conditions and what to do to help the plants flourish.
