Today I was in the mood to share a favorite movie of mine called The Raven. This 2012 release which is part mystery and part thriller called out to me since it is about a serial killer whose murders are being committed by using the themes from Edgar Allen Poe stories. The fictional tale of accounts surrouding Poe's death is based in Baltimore (Poe's Hometown) and the wardrobe and suspense do not disappoint. The movie stars John Cusack, Alice Eve, Brendan Gleeson, and Luke Evans. Of course I have watched the movie over and still find new details and am still enamored by its mystery every time. I would definitely recommend this motion picture if you haven't seen it.
Watching this movie made me want to go back and read Poe's short stories. I haven't yet, but it did put the idea in my mind.
